Cleanliness plays a large role in the comfort of your home or office, but many home and business owners simply don’t have the time to complete this task due to their busy lifestyles. At Soap Cupboard, we recognise that a clean home is a happy home, which is why we are proud to offer comprehensive home and office cleaning services.
We realise that every family and business have their own preferences, so we accommodate all your specific requests into your cleaning plan. While some cleaning companies use rotating cleaning plans, we are equipped to clean your entire house or office every time we arrive for service. However, just because we can does not mean we have to. We will work with your cleaning preferences in addition to your schedule to ensure your needs are prioritised accordingly and we provide a consistent, top-quality clean every time.

Our goal at Soap Cupboard is to provide you with quality service and satisfaction. Following these simple steps allows us to work efficiently and ensure your home or office receives the best clean possible.
How to prepare for your upcoming housecleaning?
- Before your team arrives for your scheduled cleaning, please ensure that all valuables are safely locked away. Although we have never had any incidents of theft, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
- Find a good spot for your pets so they are safe and secure while we clean.
- Put out clean sheets on each bed if we will be changing your linen.
- If payment has not already been arranged, leave cash on the kitchen counter.
- While it is important to declutter your home or office before, we arrive, there is no need to spend any time cleaning. Cleaning homes and offices is what we do, after all. Leave the work to us.
What to expect before the clean?
Before our cleaning team arrives, we will review the details of your cleaning plan. Most customers are either at work or busy with other plans when we clean, so it is quite common for them to provide us with a spare key or office access. We cross-reference all house keys for added security, but if you do not feel comfortable leaving us with a key, please make sure someone is available during your scheduled cleaning time.
If something comes up that causes a conflict in your cleaning schedule, simply give us a call and we will reschedule, where possible. We appreciate a 48 hour notice but understand that some situations are unavoidable. When shorter notice is given, however, we may charge a small cancellation/move fee.
What to expect during the clean?
We only hire caring workers who receive extensive training in the Soap Cupboard method of cleaning. If you are present when our cleaning professionals arrive, that’s great. Our team will happily work around you, allowing you to carry out your normal activities, especially with the increased focus on work from home. If you are not around, our team will dust, vacuum, and scrub while you’re out going about your day.
Our team works Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We arrive with industry-leading cleaning supplies, equipment, and a smile, ready to deliver an amazing clean. As no two homes or offices are the same, cleaning thoroughly sometimes means staying a little longer than usual to give a home or office some extra attention. Our teams spend the time needed to provide you with the best possible results.
Payment is requested at the time of the cleaning. Individual offices may have policies that vary, but generally we accept cash or EFT.
What to expect after our housecleaning service?
After the initial visit, Soap Cupboard owner will follow up, asking for your candid feedback on the service. If we do not meet your expectations, we’ll come back and fulfill our guarantee. Just notify us within 24 hours about any issue at all, including any oversight or misunderstanding regarding the execution of your cleaning service.
